Our History

Harry L Meyer founded H.L. Meyer, Inc in 1945 under the name of Lebanon Valley Petroleum. H.L. was joined in the business by his son, Roy M Meyer in 1953, his son-in-law, J. Norm McMichael in 1959, and his son, Harry M. Meyer in 1962. In 1963, the name of the company was changed to H.L. Meyer, Inc.

The success of H.L. Meyer Inc was due to the founder, Harry L Meyer and his continuing determination to have a successful growing organization, with each member of the company working to his or her best ability in their particular field.

H.L. Meyer, Inc was sold to Donald and Beckie Dreibelbis in 1984 and the name changed to Meyer Oil Company. We are still locally owned and operated from the same location started by H.L. Meyer many years ago with the same core values that still apply in today’s world.
